Had issues

Had issues with disconnects midgame and doesn't support Freesync. It's easy and straightforward to use if you get a good one,. maybe I had a defective one

Did not last long

I received this charger dock on July 17th, 2023 and it did not last long, it has stop providing a charge as of September 27th, 2023. I verified it was not my Ally by trying the charger that was provided, which still works. I generally like Asus products, however this one seems to be a rushed product that does not allow you to use the Ally to it's full capability. The Ally can do Freesync, however the charger dock's HDMI cable will not allow you to use Freesync or Adaptive Sync on capable monitor or TV. It would have also been a bonus if it included multiple USB ports to allow for a keyboard and mouse if someone wanted to use wired for their gaming. I did also encounter times during the timeframe it functioned when I would have to unplug it from the wall and remove the usb c cable and then plug everything back in before it would start to charge the Ally again. You would have better luck if you used a third party dock that had display port or HDMI that allowed you to pass Freesync.

Really essy to use just wish it would let me charge some things with the usb but some powerbanks dont switch to charge mode

Just buy this instead of a cheaper Amazon one

Works really well. A lot better than the cheaper Amazon docks with built in HDMI ports. Highly recommend.

After using for a little over a month...

Im not sure if its a true increase but when Im using this charge box as opposed to the one it came with it will show my wattage at 40-48w and it seems to run smoother when on ultra and high settings. Im not sure that it is an accurate reading but from what visual differences I get plus the capability of plugging your peripherals is worth it.
