New to pc gaming

It’s my very first pc since 2001 and wow it’s has change a lot the only problem I have and been learning is the cpu temperature get hot I mean it can hit 85 to 90 idk if it’s okay and ur i7 can take it but I definitely think it needs more fans the fans it comes with are not enough idk if I’m being to picky but for the price and some of the parts it has I believe it’s a good pc

No HDMI signal after Armoury Crate install

Attempted to open Asus Armory Crate preinstalled software. After it installed and updated, it asked me to restart the computer. After restarting, the HDMI would no longer output a signal. I spent 3 days trying to troubleshoot and finally returned before the 14 day deadline. Reviews are showing issues with overheating. I'm not sure if that was the cause or not. I won't be buying from Asus again.

Ehh ok

It works ok, the speed is there but have to mess with setting. Also the fans sound like they are going to take off and fly out when it is running. Can’t find a way to simmer them down without making the system get too hot

Best pre build

Fast and smooth gaming. When fans kick on just a but loud but thats my only complaint. Wortg the price.

Great for 4k 120hz games and VR. Bad PC case.

I bought this pre-built for the 3080 to get smoother VR gameplay for Sim racing. I can turn up alot of settings and still get very good VR experience. Sim racing at 4k 120hz with all the settings on EPIC or ULTRA look stunning. Pc is great and I absolutely would recommend it. HOWEVER the front plate to the PC case is a horrendous design. The front plate is stopping the PC from breathing and brings the gaming temps up to 85-100 Celsius. I added more Noctua fans and that didn't help. Trying to get a 240mm AIO up top is nearly impossible. Get the PC for the 3080 and the i7 12700k. DEFINITELY buy a new PC case to avoid any performance throttling or damage. I bought me a Corsair PC case and AIO in store to remediate the high Temps. Added some 32 RGB RAM. Added another 2tb NVME. It was my first time doing a PC swap. Daunting at first but took lots of pics along the way. Just be slow, gentle, and patient. If you can work on a car you can change a PC case. Just don't do it on carpet and maybe wear some nylon gloves to avoid static electricity frying your PC.

Power supply of 500 watts is not sufficient

Great CPU and GPU but power supply needs to be at least 750 watt or else it will shut down under increased loads. Happened to me anytime I boot up a demanding game on 1440p. Good desktop but you will have to replace the power supply to at least 750 watts as it only comes with 500 watt power. Cheap move

Great start

I actually really like this system. The only issue I had was the internal space of the case. There is not very much room to work or add new components, and taking it apart to add fans and new components is a pain. I ended up buying a corsair case and transfering the insides to the new case and it was so much easier to work with.... Again, this this a great start though...the components that come with this system are top tier.
