In 2021, the U6G series made Quantum Dot Wide Color Gamut more accessible to the masses. In 2022, the U6H series expands on picture quality and audio upgrades and makes the transition to the Google TV operating system. The U6H series adds HDR10+ Adaptive and Dolby Vision IQ to its already long list of supported HDR formats. Performance is excellent. Picture quality and sound experience is awesome. Over all its the best in the market in this price range .

Great for the price with minor complaints

We've had the Hisense U6H 55" for about 2 months now and so far it's been very good. The picture is exceptional for the price point though we've seen the rare artifact (picture attached) in some darker areas on the screen. Not sure what this anomaly is called but it's where a portion of the screen gets pixilated and loses detail. We've watched a lot on it to put it through it's paces and tried various settings combinations and we've only experienced it twice for a few seconds each time. For the $369 price we paid, I absolutely can't complain! My only wish is that I'd have sprung for the 65". The 55" probably fits my small living room better but I really do think the 65" would've been more immersive and impactful to watch. The sound will definitely be needing a sound bar and sub in the future. The sound is ok for the price point but a far cry from dynamic. It's a little tinny. Lastly, the viewing angle is a little narrow, even for my small room. That would be my biggest complaint. Too far off center, and the colors, especially faces, start to get washed out and if we're way off center, it's unwatchable. But in the right room relatively centered, it's a terrific viewing experience.

Colors wash out quickly from side view.

I had already read reviews on this about the viewing angle, but didn't realize how extreme it was. The color and contrast is pretty good when you are directly in front of the TV. But one two steps off center and the picture changes dramatically and becomes pretty washed out. I have a few other TVs I bought recently and had to go check to see if I missed that on them. Nope, only this TV. If you were like me and debating between this and another larger brand TV (say one with SmartTizen) go with the other one. Don't be fooled by the Quantum ULED.

Very frustrating when the TV has a thousand things it can do but it can not play sound through its speaker while you are wearing headphones. Returning the TV for a VIzio which I think is the only TV that will allow you to do this.
