Doesn’t accept banana plugs

Phenomenal sound, but huge. Definitely not a speaker that you can hide away, but sound stage is amazing. Unfortunately the design does not allow for use of banana plugs.

Solid surround upgrade

I purchased the FX pair to replace the Motion 4 speakers i was using for surround channels. The difference is amazing. Night and day change. The detail and punch from the FX model brought solid surround effects to my home theater.

Love these Motion FXs!

These speakers are awesome! I have B&W 606s as my back L and R, but after hooking up the MLs as my back L and R surround, my sound bubble is complete! I definitely hear a difference and the clarity is amazing. This year, my wife and I changed out our front stage with MLs and these Motion FX's have really completed the package. I have to admit I've been a B&W fan but MLs have won me over. My front stage are the motion 40Is and and the 50XT center. I'm using an outlaw audio 5K amp paired with the Denon 3600x to power everything. The motions replaced B&W 683s2s and the 50XT replaced the HTM6. I couldn't be happier!

Ugly and adequet

Ducking one star because these are ugly and the grill cannt be removed. Ducking another star because 1) the connectors are poorly designed and 2) they sound adequete. I bought these to supplement my Motion 60XTis and Motion 50. They sound pretty flat. I ended up returning them and getting Electro Motion FX2s. Those are awesome and sound very rich.

Martin Logan Motion FX Surround Speakers

Bought these to replace a pair of Definitive Tech BP2X surrounds. I recently purchased a pair of Martin Logan 60xti front channel speakers, and these surrounds complement the 60xti perfectly. The Best Buy web site has an incorrect description for these, so be sure to talk to a Best Buy salesperson.

Great rear speakers

Bought these speakers as my rears and they do not dissapoint. They rounded off my surround sound speakers nicely. I would highly recommend this speaker.
