4k Gaming Monitor

First time buying a 4k PC gaming monitor, and the results really astonished me in terms of playing some of my favorite games. The Samsung Odyssey G7 144 hz G-Synced monitor is an excellent upgrade from a 1080p or 1440p monitor.

Samsung G7

The purchase process went great, i was actually reviewing this online prior to puchasing. IMHO, the monitor is definitly not for a novice user. It has this bad habit of wanting to be a TV rather than a computer monitor. Once you get the basis figued out it works great. The only issue i am still working with at the time of this review is the monitor soes not want to come back on in the original mode when my system or (maybe its the monitor) goes to sleep. You will need to power it down and pick pc mode again. Overall a good monitor with a few minor issues.

Beautiful but g series monitors are buggy

Worked for 3 days then started flickering before went totally black. Was a beautiful monitor but had to return. Would have been 5 stars.

Great monitor, though you might experience some difficulty getting it to recover from power save using a DisplayPort connection.

Amazing Image

Great image, fast synching and so versatile. I enjoy this monitor and being able to raise and rotate the screen to my liking, lets not forget the gaming settings that comes default on this monitor

This monitor is phenomenal. Smart monitor with all the features just like a Samsung TV. Best investment . Dont get the G5, pay a little more for the G7 !!

Excellent for gaming, especially PS5

I used it for netflix and PS5. I’ve only played COD so far and it’s amazing. When I was using my Vizio TV, the most kill I had in ranked play is 10. When I started playing ranked games with this computer/tv, my highest kill was 43! Excelltn for gaming: no lag and it’s very smooth. I might buy apple tv for netflix tho and use it with this computer/tv because the quality and color distribution for streaming is better with apple.
