Great Sound, horrible Fitment

While these probably have the best sound and ANC of any current earbuds in the market, the terrible fitment cannot be overlooked. The intial in ear fitment felt forced and after trying all 3 earfoam sizes i was unable to ever find that perfect fit. I settled with the M default option and 48hrs into use had too many close calls with almost dropping the earbuds, simply put they will not stay in your ear comfotably. Also, heads up to Sony, the app is a nightmare of options and toggles its so overwhelming with non essential settings.

Sony1000mx4

Quality headphones. They actually fit very nice and dont fall out my ear like others. Sound is really clear and the noise cancelation is one of the best in the market. Highly recommend these earpods!

TRY BEFORE YOU BUY

I preferred the sound in the over ear and the Beats. I wanted to try out in the store however Best Buy doesn't allow which is silly because you can buy and bring back. Not really noise cancelling.

Simply great.

Amazing sound. The bass is deep, but there’s room for improvement. If you use the sony app to link to your buds, change the equalizer to “Excited” for a good mixture of vocals and bass. You can also boost the bass even more, but it wont have that “boom” effect. The noise cancelling is super amazing on these mid size buds. I was using an electric greenworks 1800psi pressure washer and it blocked the sound very good. The only problem i personally have is the tips. They care comfy, but are made out of foam. If i leave them in my ears for long periods of time it starts hurting the inside of my ear. Maybe because i have small ears i dunno. If i use the small tips they fall, if i use the medium they fit great but hurt after a while. I ordered some plastic ear tips and work great but they slip out due to the weight so i have to stick with the ones that came with. If they break, they have instructions on how to order more. They won’t last forever.

Great buy

My girlfriend always says nasty things to me when she is mad. Now i just utalize the noise canceling feature and cant hear her cutting remarks. Great quality. Would recommend for anyone with birds or mean spirited significant others.

Noise Canceling Magic

Best earbuds I have ever purchased. Worked amazingly on a couple flights to reduce the plane noise to almost zero; same with the airports. As someone who struggles with sensory issues, they were amazing. The plane noise essentially disappeared when I turned on ANC. The white noise of people moving about in the airport also disappeared. The audio quality is precise, without being fatiguing. No distortion with high highs and low lows playing simultaneously. Highly recommended for anyone who needs impressive noise canceling and amazing audio quality. Have yet to have any battery stresses, even running them for 10 hours intermittently across 2 flights and a 3hr layover. The app is the only low point. Once I got through the 4 screens asking me to give Sony my data and having to deny each of them, the app is basic and not super detailed. It helps set up left and right taps, and tap and holds. Not much else unless you like giving up your data for some features.

Sony has a great product

Charging is easy. Sound quality is excellent, the speaking cut out feature is great. So far, an excellent buy. Sony has done a marvelous job with the ear buds. I highly recommend them.
